With last night's fantastic Ice Breaker event at Koko kicking of UCL Union's Freshers' Week, this is just the beginning of what promises to be a mad two weeks...we have everything on offer, from our legendary club night, "Vodpop" returning to Turnmills for its Opening Pary tonight from 10pm...make sure you've got your tickets to the launch night of "Popaganda" on Tuesday for all you indie kids! Felt you've not split your sides for a while? Then check out Ministry of Comedy on Wednesday for just £5 in the Dent Room over at Huntley Street...with Cocktails returning to the Union on Thursday nights, and Saturday nights being taken over by Double Vision, make sure you don't miss out!
UCLU Freshers fayre will be gracing the Cloisters on Thursday and Friday this week so come and check out all those clubs and societies that are dying for you to sign up and be their newest member. And don't forget to visit the JBR and see what the Union's got going on. And if you want to see your executive officers preaching true democracy then catch us in the Octagon with our togas, laurels as we go for the Athenian look...
With so much going on, I don't know how I'll keep up but am certainly looking forward to meeting as many students as possible! Don't forget you can always get hold of me via email, or drop into my surgery at the CSC every Monday between 12 and 1pm.
