World Music Project

This is our world music branch which is devoted more to the instrumentalists amongst us. The great thing about these meetings is that we accept anyone who can play an instrument, be that the sitar, the bag pipes or flute anything goes into this great melting pot of cultures and styles. Please note that most of the work done in the world music project will go towards our shows and so regular attendance is preferred.

We currently have Wednesdays from 1800 to 2000 hrs booked in room 212 in the Bloomsbury building for the world music project.

Percusion Circle

Our percussion circle is known throughout the Bloomsbury building, (mostly for it's volume) and is a fun way to relax , make friends and improve your rhythm. The format of these sessions will be partly instructive with guest teachers/percussionists making appearances throughout the year to help you get to grips with the drums. There will also be plenty of time to jam and fresh ideas are most certainly encouraged to help keep the society dynamic.
We accept anyone into the circle, regardless of skill or rhythm, so whether you are a seasoned professional or a complete newbie there will be something for you to do!

We currently have WEDNESDAYS from 1700 to 1900 hrs booked in room 105 in the Bloomsbury building for the percussion circle.
