Some of the unsung heroes of UCL Union and the clubs and societies section are the Arts Officer, the Societies Officer and the Sports Officer.
These officers are people who really care about what goes on in UCL Union's Arts Societies, Sports Clubs, or the other societies. Hopefully they are people with experience in involvement in clubs and societies, but they might just have a passion!
The officers are elected by the presidents of the societies, and although they are sometimes a current or future president, that's not always the case. The officers for next year will be elected at the next set of boards, which means the following:
- Societies Officer to be elected at Societies Board, 15th March 5-6pm in the Conference Room.
- Sports Officer to be elected at Sports Board, 20th March, 5-6pm in the Conference Room.
- Arts Officer to be elected at Arts Board, 22nd March, 5-6pm in the Rehearsal Room.
(Both Rehearsal and Conference Rooms are in the Bloomsbury Building).
For job descriptions (although they aren't very expansive) see the standing orders and scroll down to about page 40.
If you have any questions email me, or the relevant officer at uclu-societies.officer@ucl.ac.uk, uclu-arts.officer@ucl.ac.uk or uclu-sports.officer@ucl.ac.uk .
All the best,
Robbie
