Hiya to everyone who attended - first of all, someone's picked up a Moss Bros dinner jacket that doesn't belong to them. The person whose jacket it is has got an 'autograph' DJ from Marks and Spencer. If you've got the Moss Bros one, send me an email or come and drop it off at the sabb suite, and I'll try and get yours back. It had some stuff in the pockets as well.
On another lost note, if anyone has found a black cardigan that ties at the front (and was left on a boat club table) can you also let me know.
Secondly, many apologies to those who came to the ball and for one reason or another didn't receive their certificate on the night. If this was you or one of your friends, can you email me a name and a club..?
Finally, I would like to apologise to guests for the early closure of the bar. It was Lords' decision to close the bar as a result of four people who drunk in what can only be described as an irresponsible matter. Union staff and officers did our best on the night to negotiate to reopen the bar, but the venue was unwilling to do so. The only thing I will say is that they also wanted to close the room down and stop the disco, and at least we managed to persuade them not to do that!
I hope that some of you had a good time - the dancing went on, and most people seemed lively to say the least.
