The 20th May saw UCL Union's very own athletes taking on the rest of London at the University of London Athletics Championships. The UCLU team, led by Vikram Balachander, had been building their team over the course of the year.
The hard work paid off, with UCL Union running out winners and bringing back a trophy which is most impressive. Indeed, by far the biggest trophy any UCL team has won this year!
So a big congratulations to the Cross Country and Athletics Club - a heads up to anyone who didn't get involved to have a look around at next year's Fresher's Fayre.
Finally, a mention for Hollie Lundgren. Best known around Sports Nite as this year's Netball President, whilist competing in the Champs, Hollie broke the UL Javelin record. So a congratulations to her as well!
