UCLU Jazz Society was founded over forty years ago. At its core is the Big Band and Vocal Group, which hold weekly rehearsals and are non-auditioned. We also
have several small bands (including the Funk Band and the Blues Band) and we are always keen to form new bands. The main focus of the academic year is the November Show, which is performed in the prestigious Bloomsbury Theatre.

We also perform several smaller gigs, hold a weekly jam session at the Phineas Bar in the Union and arrange numerous socials, ranging from pub crawls to trips to gigs.
