People and Planet is a student network that works to protect the environment, defend human rights and fight world poverty. Issues that we have campaigned on include universal treatment for HIV/AIDS, making international trade laws more just, and stopping climate change. Our actions range from the local or small-scale (like increasing the number of recycling facilities within UCL) to the national or global, such as being part of a mass lobby of Parliament.
