UCL Union

UCL Men’s Rugby combines a very competitive rugby element with a thriving and lively social scene. We are one of the largest sports clubs at the university with between 90 and 100 members who form three teams. We cater for all standards of player, and any beginners are especially welcome. The club regularly does well in both the BUSA leagues and the London Universities Gutteridge Cup with the highlight of the season being the recently created Varsity Match against King's. Socially, every Wednesday is Sports Nite at the Union, and we combine this with several curry nights, pub crawls, various balls, and boat parties, and of course the infamous initiation. We train several times a week and matches take place on Wednesdays and occasional Saturdays. The club is run by elected members, voted in annually at our AGM - which is itself an entertaining social event.
