Founded in 1998, the UCLU Novice Fencing Team is different from the other 3 teams in the Club. It does not compete in the BUCS leagues but primarily in friendly matches and competitions both in the UK and abroad. It is a great place to start for all those who have recently picked up a blade and enjoy fencing but don't feel they quite have the skill for the BUCS teams. Check the Hall of Fame for past fencers on this team.
