The annual "Touche à Bâle" Tournament, hosted by the students and friends of Fechtgesellschaft Basel and Basler Fechtclub is the major friendly Swiss international for university students. It is run on similar terms to our own LIUF, and is open to fencers of all levels of experience, male or female, in all three weapons.

The tournament takes the form of a mixed individual, much like our own LIUF. Awards are provided for the best man and woman, as well as an overall University prize.
All equipment MUST be up to FIE standards. If you bring your own kit, make sure to check this in advance. Equipment can be borrowed from the fencing club if needed. We will provide more information in the weeks to come.
The deadline for entry is the 20th of September, but in order to simplify arrangements the tour organisers would greatly appreciate if UCL fencers could respond before the 10th of that month.
