Campaign bids are still open!

Bidding closes on 30th April 2010

Want to raise awareness among students of an issue you care about? Want to call for change to make the world we live in a better place? Follow in the footsteps of the successful DisarmUCL campaign and bid for a campaign week in Term 1 of 10/11.

Student-led campaign weeks at UCLU offer you up to £500 to run the campaign you want to see. You could do it with a group of friends, within a club or society, or drawing on a broad coalition of societies – the point is, it’s up to you.

Download a bid form here, have a think about what campaign you might like to run, and return the form to uclu-campaigns@ucl.ac.uk.

If you have any questions, want to talk over an idea or generally want some help with putting together a budget, please do get in touch with Josh at e.officer@ucl.ac.uk, or come and see him on the 4th floor of the Union at 25 Gordon Street.

Clarification on Promotional Materials Provided by External Organisations
Campaigners are able to use promotional materials providedby external organisations, subject to approval by a Sabbatical Officer. This means if, for example, Amnesty International Society wanted to distribute leaflets or magazines printed and published by Amnesty International they would be allowed to do this, so long as they pre-submitted one copy to the Sabbatical Suite for approval before doing so. The only exception to this policy is at Freshers' Fayre, when stricter rules are applied due to commercial reasons.
