NUS Conference Delegation
Statement by Ed Steward, Delegation Leader to the NUS Conference:
The Union would like to apologise for any confusion caused to candidates for the NUS delegation. The NUS has reclassified a number of our students based on HESA data, and on Friday announced that our delegation had been downsized to 12. Unfortunately, we received this news after the election declarations. Kate Rowley, (Welfare Officer), has kindly agreed to go only as an observer, thus freeing up a space for one extra delegate. The final delegate, who was elected on Friday, also has the opportunity to go as an observer, paid in full by the Union. This affects their voting rights, but nothing else.

Again, we apologise for this situation and any confusion or inconvenience caused.
