Starbuck COLEMANI’ve been on both the Finance and Services committees this year, I know what our Union is about and what must change if we are to move forward; I want a much more direct link between societies and their cash, cutting out the silly bureaucracy that blights us all. We need to be far more democratic; positions are either currently pointless, vacant, or being monopolised. The union at present has little faith in its students and I have seen 3 sabs drop out in the past 2 years, give me your vote to go in and sort this all out.

Nathanael MACDONALDI believe this union needs to join the rest of the world in the 21'' Century. At the moment its activities and societies are being choked by paperwork and an antiquated system. I aim to revolutionise this by streamlining and standardising the system and also by creating more user-friendly online options. This should allow you the student to spend less time filling in forms and more time doing what you love! (Study?!) By voting for me you are choosing to support realistic schedule of events that will bring about noticeable benefits.

Cormac VAN DER HOEVENSince arriving on campus I have engaged with a diverse range of societies, most noticeably in the Debating Society. This has provided me with a platform to represent my Union in august chambers across the UK and appearances throughout Europe; Cork, Rotterdam, Riga. I now seek to serve my Union on the frontline. For the position I stand, required is a ruthless bureaucrat doing the legwork for your society and your Union through scrutiny, dialogue, dynamism and {insert additional cliché}. A thriving democratic body is essential to UCL Union: I will engage to gain consensus regarding this vital components.

Gemma BLAKEYAs SSEES Site President I have enjoyed organising finance, running events and representing students and I want to continue doing this as YOUR Finance and Democracy Officer! I want to involve more students in the union by increasing clubs and society funding, improving the union space we have and being more accessible to all students. I also want to work with college to make student bursaries more widely publicised and available as well as working with them to make UCL a more environmentally friendly institution. I am dedicated, enthusiastic and will work my hardest to put students back into the student union.
