I have represented students in my department since I came to UCL, and strongly believe in working for what students need and want. UCL Union is one of the largest in the country and should have firm, accountable representation from its officers. Welfare is one of the most important parts of this representation, on personal, financial and academic issues. I believe that I have the sensitivity, openness and energy to carry out my manifesto and give UCL students the support they deserve.

Kate ROWLEY

I have spent two years on Council & one year on the Executive Committee, and was awarded Honorary Life Membership of UCL Union in 2007 for commitment to UCL students. As Welfare Officer, I will continue to campaign for equality & fair treatment of all students, representing the views of all UCL students on both College & Union committees and, above all, listening to students. I understand the roles & responsibilities of a Sabbatical Officer. I am the most experienced candidate so I will be an efficient and competent sabbatical officer. Vote Kate Rowley number one for Welfare Officer.
