The Big Band rehearses every Tuesday evening in the Rhearsal Room on the 1st floor of the Bloomsbury theatre from 7-9pm.  Anyone is welcome to come along and join in – no auditions necessary! And Don't worry that you've missed the first term either! 

So far this year the Big Band has performed in Unprotected Sax - this year's annual November show, and at Christmas in the Quad - playing vocal and non-vocal charts, Film and TV themes, Swing, Funk, Christmas tunes, Classic and Contemporary - a great mix overrall!

Upcoming we have a concert in the JBR alongside the Music Society's Concert band on the 4th of March, and there is the Jazz society's Tour to Cologne to work towards as well.

On that subject - the list of people going on tour is already made up, but if you aren't on it and want to go - it may still be possible to be added, get in touch with us at the jazz society address - uczxjaz@ucl.ac.uk if that is the case. 

Even if you don't want to go/aren't going on the tour - please do still come along - as I have said there is at least one other concert next term, and I'm hoping for another one as well.
