The Jazz society holds regular socials to which everyone is welcome. As well as post-rehearsal trips to the pub, we have weekly Jazz Jammin’ on a Tuesday evening in the Phineas Bar of the Union and organise trips to gigs to enjoy the wide range of Jazz London has to offer. We also hold less Jazz-related socials including meals out and pub crawls.
Probably the most significant social event of the last academic year was our tour to Cologne at Easter. In addition to playing three gigs, members enjoyed sampling Cologne’s culture and nightlife.
