If you are passionate about live music, be it performing, listening, appreciating or promoting, this is the society for you.

We are committed to providing a platform for UCL musicians to jam, form bands and perform at UCL live music nights! Every year we host Battle of the Bands, which never fails to bring UCL bands head-to-head in high-octane, alcohol-fuelled nights! 

Living in a city with arguably the most buzzing and progressive music scene around, we regularly get together to check out up-and-coming bands in some of London's underground venues.

We also put on monthly Popaganda nights which bring together the creme de la creme of the indie scene to UCL soil. We produce our own magazine called Under City Lights entirely dedicated to bands and gigs to keep you updated.
 
This year we will be having fortnightly jam nights and regular UCLive nights created by students for students.

FRESHERS WEEK ! 29th SEPTEMBER 2009 8PM-1AM @ Easy J's - The first Popaganda UCL's DIY alternative live music night. Bringing you some of the best up-and-coming live bands right to your union. The Fresher's week edition never fails to kick off the year in a loud and memorable fashion.

5th OCTOBER UCL JAM NIGHT/ FIRST LIVE MUSIC SOCIAL @ Easy J's.

6th OCTOBER 2009 8PM-12PM - The Live Music Soc's UCLive night will be kicking off early this year with its first Fresher's edition! Featuring 4 of UCL's finest home-grown bands for a measly £3.
