This week's e-mail:
Hi All!
Thanks to everyone that came to the march yesterday, it was a brilliant
day...gorgeous weather, a great march and inspiring speakers!
I have a couple of announcements...first of all I have received an email
advertising a new journal called Conservation Today which you greenies
might be interested in...I will add the email on to the end of this one.
As some of you heard in the meeting, Camilla, a third year writing her
disertation on ethical food would like to interview people, and so I have
added her email on to the end of this one as well so people can get in
touch with her and help her out!
Finally, as you know, it is the last week of term and we are therefore
having our CHRISTMAS SOCIAL on Tuesday evening. That means there will be
NO MEETING ON TUESDAY! We are meeting at about 6 outside the Bloomsbury
and will walk to the Great Nepalese Restaurant, a curry house on Eversholt
Street, just behind Euston. There is an extensive vegetarian list, and the
food has been reviewed very highly in some of the major newspapers, so it
should be delicious! Then on to drinkies somewhere local!
Hope to see you all on Tuesday. Please try and let me know if you can make
the social or not so I can let the restaurant know roughly how many people
are going!
