UCL People and Planet is part of a London-wide network of People and Planet groups
who work together on campaigns. Last year there was a London Go Green Week that
organized events such as an Environmental Question Time, bike repair workshops, green
fairs, and building a giant sculpure designed by the artist Polyp made out of recyclable
rubbish. There were also redress fashion stunts, a protest in Parliament Square about
plans for new coal followed by meetings with MPs about the plans, and attending a Lobby
Day in Parliament Square for the Treat AIDS now campaign.

This year we hope to work on more events with other London groups, hopefully beginning
with a social in the first few weeks of term! Our regional representative this year is Lewis,
from Roehampton University. We will be having a regional training day with other London
groups on the 18th of October where we can meet other members of People and Planet from
different London universities.

first meeting on the 30th of September, contact us at peopleandplanet@ucl.ac.uk, or contact
