Photo Soc conducts regular lessons on general photography, as well as more specific tutorials for studio photography, film development and printing, and new this year, Photoshop Elements. We cater to individuals of all skill levels and no experience is necessary.

General Photography

An introduction to the essentials of photography, covering aperture, shutter speed and flim speed, manual camera settings and equipment use aimed at beginner to intermediate photographers. Feel free to bring along any cameras you'd like to learn more about using.

Held every other Monday (starting Monday 15th October) at 5pm in our Hutley Street Studio

Beginner/Refresher Darkroom:

Covers the entire darkroom process, from negatives to print in one session for those new to the darkroom or anyone wanting to refresh their skills.

Held every other Monday (starting Monday 22nd October) at 5pm in our Huntley Street Darkroom.

Photography Forum:

An open discussion forum aimed at intermediate to advanced photographers who wish to discuss any aspect of photography . All are welcome to attend in order to learn new skills, discuss problems and meet like minded people.
