UCLU Stop the War Society has its campaign bid to the union approved.
Our campaign 'Supporting Iraqi Students' aims to build solidarity with students in Iraq through contact and support, enabling UCL students to hear about their experiences and raising awareness of the problems students face living under occupation and in areas of conflict.
We want to build links at first by contacting organisations and individuals who can get us in touch with Iraqi students who can give us first-hand accounts of student life in Iraq. If anyone has any contacts we can use to kick start this campaign please get in touch (stopthewar@ucl.ac.uk)
