Hi, with the new-look Phineas bar almost ready for opening, a fresh look reception area and an Ents line-up ready to burst, this last week has been manic up here in the Sabb suite. I hope all freshers' have filled in their forms already? If you haven't, send them in asap and be ready to pick them up from the Union reception from Monday 10am-4pm. And for any of you non-freshers out there who fancy a night out at the Ministry of Sound (complete with free glow sticks) or a Black-tie soiree at KOKO get yourselves to the Union reception from 2pm Monday to snap-up any reamining tickets...
Our regular ents are looking fresher and sharper this year ...
Masti Monday - where you can mellow-out to some urban tunes and the odd splash of banghra with a Shisha pipe (£5) in Easy J's or Huntley Street Bar.
Tuesday - Live Music takes over the 2econd Floor Bar with a rotation of acoustic, electronic and open-mic nights. Up in the fresh new Phineas bar is live Jazz Jammin. Carling is only £1.60 and Smirnoff &coke is just £1.90 from all bars at all times.
Weds - get involved in a sports team and come socialise with them on the 2econd Floor Bar with guest kareoke nights and late-night specials!
