Too much work and no play… Go on, take a break for one night only as VODPOP returns to Turmills after its Easter holiday. We’ve only had two bloomin’ events and already VodPop is the stuff of legends, packed to the rafters, a good time had by all and even hoards of sassy boys n’ girls from those other London institutions turning up to see how to have proper fun…

So, our stress-busting them for this month is Get Your Kit Off… Head down to Turmills (Farringdon Tube) in your best sports attire (or worst! If anyone’s got a Liverpool 95-96 away shirt, I will personally buy you a Tizer…)

Three rooms of music, fantastic drinks deals (Vodka & Spark £1.50, pints of Red Stripe £2, selected shots £1) and tickets are £4 in advance from UCL Union bars n’ shops.

As you may know, there are many medical students and junior doctors who are unhappy with aspects of their career training. Gripes include an increase in the number of medical students without an increase in the number of training positions and the August handovers of Junior Doctors, which mean that sometimes there will be no one on hand with any prior knowledge of the patients being treated.

Remedy UK (www.remedyuk.net) have staged protests in the past and their next is scheduled for Tuesday24th April at 11am at the House of Lords. So scrub up and come along and protest.
