Volunteering News April 24th - May 2nd

Welcome back - we hope you’ve had a good Easter, and managed to find some time to enjoy the sunny weather amidst all the revision! We’ve been busy scouring London for more interesting volunteering opportunities for you, and this newsletter is the result. Remember, if you’re thinking about volunteering after your exams, it’s a good idea to start looking now.

This week we’re advertising some volunteer placements with our friends at Toynbee Hall (they’ve been recruiting student volunteers since Queen Victoria was on the throne). Plus vacancies at The Street League Football Project, Westminster Libraries Homework Club, Camden Citizen’s Advice Bureaux, and with two international development charities (ActionAid and Womankind Worldwide). If you like swimming, Action Disability Kensington & Chelsea would like to hear from you, and last but not least there’s an announcement from Student Volunteering England, the national body for, erm, student volunteering.
