Good Afternoon Everyone!
This week’s newsletter has got even more exciting new opportunities – the main ones that I’d like to draw your attention to are volunteering roles with IntoUniversity, the SS Robin over in Docklands, the Benjamin Franklin House Museum off Russell Square, the RNLI and The Royal British Legion – all of these organisations are starting their recruitment drives and would be very interested to hear from you.
On another note I thought I’d highlight a feature role this week. There’s a project at Freightliners City Farm (near Caledonian Road on the Piccadilly) that meets weekly to convene a knitting circle. They’re looking for volunteers to join and even run the circle. Knitting is supposed to be incredibly therapeutic, personally I’ve yet to try it, but I’ve been told it is. Have a look at the ad about half-way through the newsletter and see what you think.
If any opportunities catch your eye this week, whether it be selling poppies, knitting things or internships, just get in touch and we’ll do our best to get you volunteering before term starts next month.

Afternoon Volunteers!
I hope you’re all well. There are even more volunteering opportunities in this week’s newsletter. From volunteering for the RNIB to helping out with Positive East, just scroll down to the new roles and have a look. In the meantime it may be worth you checking out the roles available through our student-led projects.
We have a range of projects that are starting to recruit volunteers for the new academic year – if you speak another language the Language Skills Pool and Language Clubs would love to hear from you. Equally if you fancy getting involved with health, refugees and education have a look and see if any of the projects directly below would suit you.
The one-off volunteering opportunities still need your help – the Dorcas Project need helpers for their trip to Southend-On-Sea, BTCV need help painting their office over the next few days and Interfaith Action would love to hear from you if you’re interested in conservation.
Again, simply spend a few minutes reading through this newsletter and see if there’s any way you could get involved in volunteering before the start of term.

Afternoon Volunteers!
I imagine you are all thoroughly sick of the weather. Luckily, I have a number of wonderful new volunteering opportunities to brighten everything up just that little bit in London this week.
As I’ve mentioned over the last few weeks our volunteering roles have been increasingly popular and numerous organisations have been in touch to provide me with even more roles to advertise. Out of these new roles, the one-offs that you’ll cast your eyes over first should be of particular interest. They’re ideal for all of you who want to get some volunteering in this summer at short notice and without commitment.
There’s also a selection of new longer-term volunteering roles available. This week’s additions are particularly interesting. Befrienders are needed for the Dorcas Project in Islington, an eBay Charity Seller for Friends United Network, a Fundraiser for Save the Children, Gardening Volunteers for Kentish Town Community Centre and even a Website Manager for a small educational charity that teaches Latin to school children in London State Schools (Boris would be proud!). Of course there are the volunteering roles that I advertised last week as well as these new additions – many of which are still crying out for volunteers.
So if you feel like you have the time over the next month or so, get in touch and we’ll help you out as much as we can to get you into volunteering this summer.

Good Afternoon!
There are even more volunteering opportunities to offer you all this week. Given the recent rise in popularity, we’ve asked a number of organisations to provide us with any roles they need help with over the coming months. As you’ll see below, a number of them have yielded some exciting results, including four brand new internship opportunities.
Again I’d like to stress that as a UCL volunteer your travel expenses will be covered within Zones 1-6.
Wherever your motivation to volunteering may lie, whether it’s simply to boost your CV or to meet some amazing new people, please do just get in touch.
