Main Activity
In the classroom - worksheets, games, group activities, creative writing exercises, speaking and listening exercises. All based on information and statistics on players’ names, squad numbers, the stadium and recent matches.

Description
The Arsenal Double Club is an innovative education and football programme which offers a range of subjects – Literacy, Numeracy, Science, German, French, Spanish, Geography, ICT, History, Healthy Living, Architecture, Business Studies – together with football coaching. The programme runs as an after-school club in primary and secondary schools, and increasingly in curriculum time. The Double Club format is also used during holiday programmes and in alternative education schemes. In all the subjects covered football is the motivation, with all the resources used based on Arsenal specifically or football in general. Volunteers mostly work in literacy/numeracy after school Double Clubs in primary schools; there will be more opportunities in languages. Regular volunteering over a long period of time can lead to paid work as Double Club teaching assistants during Holiday programmes.
