Main Activity

Description

Volunteers needed to visit members in their home, and to help regional group social events. Many members are frail isolated holocaust survivors and refugees; some have little or no surviving family and are extremely lonely. The Association of Jewish Refugees (AJR) provides a range of services aimed at securing welfare and maintaining the cultural traditions and interests of former Jewish refugees from Nazi persecution.
