Description
Would you like to befriend an older person living in Covent Garden/South Bloomsbury? C.G.C.A. 'Good Neighbour' scheme needs volunteers to visit older housebound people in the community. The aim of the project is to reduce social isolation especially for those with no friends or relatives and perhaps further isolated by poor health and lack of mobility. The Scheme co-ordinators provide the necessary guidance and support to volunteers who visit an elderly person on a regular basis for a minimum of 6 months.
