Description
The Reminiscence and Home project gives older people the opportunity to socialise with a volunteer who will record their memories and give them a written copy of the discussions in the form of a short booklet. The project connects older people who may be isolated, physically or socially, through a quarterly newsletter - Memories Shared - which is circulated amongst members and older peoples' groups.
Former participants have commented that the sessions made them feel special, that they were interesting, that they enjoyed feeling connected with others and that it brightened up their week.
