To advance education among the community through the provision and promotion of facilities for education and training. To relieve poverty and distress amongst the community through the provision of advisort and other services. To advance the education of the public in Chinese history, tradition, science, medicine, customs and arts and way of life. To promote racial harmony within the Borough of Islington and its environs.
Main Activity
- a luncheon/social club and meals-on-wheels services open 5 days a week; unique in the Chinese community in the UK. -traditional Chinese dances, aerobics, yoga, Chinese opera, Chinese musical instruments, English classes and computer classes. -After-school homework supports and activities classes for isolated and disadvantaged Chinese families. -Various education, social, recreational and health activities and talk - major Chinese cultural festivals celebrations which are open to everyone in the community.

There are lots of different opportunities for volunteers - from helping out with IT and teaching English to fundraising and interpreting!
