Description

What is Graphic Design?
Graphic- Socially and financially excluded young people.
Design- Something students can do to help them tackle the problems they are up against.

We're looking for third year creative students who would be keen to get involved in a challenge that aims to empower financially excluded young people.
This is an excellent opportunity for creative students to gain experience working with vibrant, enrgetic young people and the chance for them to get their work noticed and exposure to local and national media if their group comes up with a winning solution!
We'll team them up with a trained facilitator and a group of financially excluded young people and ask them to come up with an original, creative solution to the issues the young people are facing regarding finance.
The Thrifty Squid Challenge is a unique project for students to add to their CV's and will provide them with transferable skills that will be invaluable in their professional lives.
The winning group will receive a whopping £10,000 that will enable them to turn their idea into reality and will benefit their local community.
We need creative people to put their hands up and volunteer some time and imagination.
