We are dedicated to the promotion and protection of the human rights of all persons in the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria and elsewhere.
Main Activity
Taking cases to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, fact-finding missions and trial observation missions.
Description
We offer internships in Development, Finance, Public Relations, Legal work and Research. We also run an extern scheme for voluntary translation. KHRP provides excellent opportunities for anyone interested in developing their knowledge of human rights issues in the Kurdish regions and gain experience of working in an NGO. The work depends on the project running, however there is often great opportunities for interns to work on specialist projects and gain in depth knowledge. We also aim to provide the opportunity for all interns to develop administrative and office skills, which will be helpful for future employment.
