Description

CampusWatch Westminster is a new scheme within the Metropolitan Police that aims to recruit students (and anyone else involved with university life) as Special Constables in order to increase the safety of campus grounds and to promote a positive image and deeper understanding of the Police Service within the student community. Knowledge and skills gained can then be used during and after university. For this reason CampusWatch is student-orientated, and as well as regular police shifts other activites, training days and deployments are planned to make being a Special even more interesting, informative and challenging.
Apply to join CampusWatch as a Special Constable, and after 17 weekends of training, you'll have all the powers of the regular police to fight crime in universities across London. In addition, you'll pick up a high level of extra skills and confidence from working for the capital's police service that can do a lot for your work life, personal life and beyond. Plus, as a student, this voluntary, public service work is a great addition to your CV.
