Description
After a successful pliot session during the half-term break in October 2005, we are now running weekly music sessions with children at Calthorpe Community Project on Grays Inn Road. We teach a group of 10-15 children aged 7-10 who have had no experience of playing music before. The sessions cover basic music theory and introduction to different styles of music. The children have a chance to try out different instruments donated or on loan to the project. We will finish the project with an informal concert where the children will be able to show what thay have learnt to their families and the community.
