Pyramid

Pyramid helps primary school children to fulfil their potential in school and in life by building their skills, confidence and self-esteem.

Main Activity

We run ten week after school clubs for children aged between 7-11 years of age. These children have been identified by school professionals as needing a confidence boost in terms of their relationships with others and their ability to ask for help in the classroom.

Description

Pyramid clubs are specially designed activity clubs for children in primary schools who are quiet, shy, anxious, withdrawn and finding it difficult to make friends. The aim of the clubs is to provide children with a fun, positive experience, in a group, with lots of new experiences and chances to develop friendships.
Whatever your skills and experiences of working with young children, our complete training programme will fully prepare you for understanding and working with children in Pyramid clubs.
The clubs run for and hour and a half, one day per week for ten weeks only, with activities ranging from circle time, games, cooking, and arts and crafts activities. All travel expenses are reimbursed and full training is provided.
If you feel that you would like to run one of these clubs and have loads of energy, please get in touch and we will find a scheme local to you. We currently work in a number of London boroughs and local authority areas outside London, so will match you to your nearest or most convenient project.
