Ragged School Museum Trust
The Ragged School Museum Trust aims to enable everyone to gain inspiration, learning and enjoyment from exploring the history of the East End and its people. In doing so, the Trust aims to preserve its buildings and their history and to provide a place to which people will wish to return.
Specifically, we aim to:
1. Provide children, teachers and families with an understanding of the life of the Victorian poor
2. Ensure that visits are enjoyable, inspirational and interactive

Main Activity
We display Permanent, temporary and touring exhibitions on aspects of East End life and in particular, on the people and history of Tower Hamlets. We also run a successful education programme that benefits over 20,000 children per year. This includes school visits, after school clubs and holiday activities.

We are the Ragged School Museum, an independent museum in Tower Hamlets, east London. We want to recruit inspirational & energetic volunteers to help us continue to be the best place in London to experience the life of the Victorian poor.
Volunteers will gain valuable experience delivering and designing educational activities for children aged 1-12yrs, working in a large friendly team of other volunteers, staff and freelancers.
