Description
Fancy a free night out? Do you enjoy going to the theatre? Have you ever thought of helping a disabled or elderly person to get out and enjoy events too? If so, then why not volunteer for the Shape Ticket Scheme?
We are looking for volunteers London-wide to be driver escorts. Our volunteers collect the theatre-goer form their home, go with them to the show and take them home again afterwards. Ticket Scheme pays for the volunteer's ticket and covers all petrol and parking expenses. All volunteers are given disability awareness training prior to the first trip. Volunteers must undertake at least one trip every month, but hours are very flexible as performances are both evenings and matinees, midweek and weekends - and you choose the trips you'd like to do!
