Description

The Camden Society is a London wide charity that aims to enable people with a learning disability to improve their quality of life.
We operate 24 hour supported housing project, employment services, day services, leisure services and cafes.
We are committee to using volunteers in all our services as we believe they can offer something different than paid workers.
Many people with learning disability have spent much of their lives isolated from the rest of the community, often their only contact has been with their family and paid workers.
The qualities we are looking for in a volunteer are enthusiasm and flexibility, the ability to work evenings and weekends and we are always looking for drivers who hold a D1 license.
In return you will receive free training, gain work experience, meet new people and have fun in diverse social activities.
