Description

Theatro Technis stands on the cusp of warmly enbraced uncertainty. The call of innovation and dedication leading us from a Camden garage in the 60's and a disused railway shed in the 70' to our current location, the converted old church house and hall of St Pancras in Camden.
Developing Theatro Technis has been a long struggle full of stamina, perseverance, sustainability and accountability to one's own conscience; trying to achieve the great and the good not only for oneself but also others, especially the disadvantaged and the excluded. In this the story of Theatro Technis resembles the ancient tale of Oedipus; just as he found a resting point and refuge in Colonus, so Theatro Technis after three decades of movement has found a welcoming home in the Camden Community. In May this year Theatro Technis celebrated its 50th anniversary.
