Main Activity
Need volunteers to lead informal computer sessions with elderly users (how to set up email account, etc) as well as for one-off events such as trips to the seaside.
The project provides healthy living activities for active elderly people. There is a Good Neighbour Scheme that provides visiting and support service for the housebound. There is also a possibility for volunteers to get involved in community screenings and patient support (heart disease and diabetes) as part of new Healthy Living programme now in its fourth year.

Description
Third Age Project is an innovative project providing a wide range of services for older people 60+ living in Camden. Volunteers are wanted: - to assist individual older people attending the different centres to gain confidence, skill and enjoyment in using the computers, especially the internet.- to visit isolated or housebound elderly in their homes. - and helping out at social, community and cultural events, at our bi monthly tea dances and on coach trips.
