Description

The UK Sports Association is the national charity which co-ordinates and promotes sport and recreation for all people with learning disability in the UK and is the UK representative in the International Sporting arena. We are the umbrella body co-ordination sport for people with learning disability throughout England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Volunteers at the Association can expect to find a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to gain new skills, enhance current skills and ultimately benefit the charity and its client group, people with learning disability by "donating" their time and skills to ensure that the work of the Charity continues. Positions exist in Administration, Research and fundraising and we encourage volunteers to become as involved as they wish to and show lots of initiative! Positions are mainly office based although we can arrange for volunteers to attend some regional events in order to gain a greater understanding of the Charities work.
