Witness Service at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court
Supporting victims of crime and witnesses for both the Defence and Prosecution as they come to give evidence in criminal trials. The majority of our support is for prosecution witnesses & victims in both the adult and youth court, however we are a neutral organisation and are able to support defence witnesses too.

The Witness Service offers a court-based service with a team of trained volunteers assisting witnesses and victims of all ages as they come to court to give evidence. We provide full training for our volunteers, who help witnesses before, after and during the trial.

A chance to support the witness/victim after a trial has ended
The Witness Service at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court needs volunteers to support victims and witnesses of crime, including the defence and prosecution witnesses, when they come to give evidence in criminal trials. This is a great way to help people who do not know about the trial system, learn about the criminal justice system and experience court environment. We offer comprehensive training and cover travel expenses.
We need volunteers for a minimum of 1 day (9:30-4:30) every week .You will need to specify which day you are available on at the time of application.
