Description
The Women's Resource Centre has a very popular intern programme for people who want to work in the voluntary sector. Working with our Policy Team, interns take on research projects, attend meetings, write reports and generally get involved in all aspects of our work. Campaigning, lobbying and research are the mainstays of the work that interns do.
Volunteers can expect to be engaged in challenging work making use of their current skills and developing further skills. All volunteers will be fully supported on a day to day basis as well as receiving regular supervision - allowing space for feedback. You will not be stuffing envelopes! If you are interested in the voluntary sector or want to gain hands-on experience, the WRC is the place to come.
